Shake Shack coming to Jackson Heights
Jackson Heights, Queens, will be getting a new Shake Shack.
The burger chain, which already has three other locations in Queens, signed a 2,727-square-foot lease at 82-11 37th Avenue in the RockFarmer Properties-owned building, also known as Heritage Tower, according to the landlord.

Rebuilding our Community
Launched in Spring 2020, Neighborhoods Now is a collaboration between the Urban Design Forum and Van Alen Institute to connect NYC neighborhoods hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic with design firms in their collective network. Over three years, the initiative evolved from rapid, tactical responses to long-term recovery strategies on a wider scale. Led by community organizations, seven interdisciplinary teams have enlivened and programmed public space, provided technical support to small businesses, and strengthened cultural activities.
Mayor Adams extends the Water Bill Amnesty Program
The limited-time program has already brought in more than $80 million from delinquent accounts and has helped New York customers clear their debts, saving them $12 million in interest so far. Of the nearly 200,000 customers with a late water bill, approximately 86,000 — more than 40 percent — participated and saved money. To date, DEP has also granted low-income homeowners a total of $4.2 million in billing credits as part of the program
